We provide uniforms, equipment and accessories to Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and beyond.

With over 40 years of experience, our dedicated sales staff is aimed at helping your department achieve the professional image that you are looking for, and that the general public will respect.

We have an outside sales staff that will visit your department on a moment's notice for onsite design and tailoring.

Our in-store sewing department applies patches and hems your custom leg length  while you wait at no additional charge. Sewing Boy Scout patches is offered at a charge.

While you wait, you can enjoy a complimentary beverage or snack in our designated waiting area, or take a stroll through  Amesbury's historic downtown and enjoy the Victorian sites or one of the many stores.

About Us

Ben's Uniforms was established as a family business that started in 1927 by Benjamin Kaplan then grown for many years under Herb Karas. Today it is still a family owned business with multiple family members and very loyal employees providing service to many departments and companies.
